Adding Annotations to Video Clips

You can add annotations to video clips by hovering your mouse over a video clip to add tags, annotations and comments.

How to Add Annotations

To add annotations, hover your mouse over the video clip and click on annotations icon. ※ Annotation creation is possible at 0.1-second granularity.

Adding Annotations

When you click on the annotations icon, video editing screen will appear.

To add annotations, click on one of the seven marker icons on top of the screen.

• Frame marker: You can use this marker to create square and rectangular frames.

• Cover marker: You can use this marker to create square and rectangular covers.

• Ellipse frame marker: You can use this marker to create circular or elliptical frames.

• Ellipse marker: You can use this marker to create circular or elliptical covers.

• Arrow marker: You can use this marker to create arrows.

• Callout marker: You can use this marker to create callouts.

• Text marker: You can use this marker to insert texts.

You can select the color of the marker by selecting the color picker icon on the bottom of the screen.

To delete annotations from the video clip, click on the select mode icon on the top left of the screen, click on the marker that you would like to delete and click the trash bin icon or click on the trash bin icon in the right side of the screen.

Details

The details of the video is shown in the right side of the screen.

Items	Descriptions
Bookmark	By clicking, you can put a bookmark to a video.
Tags	Click on the ＋ sign and enter a keyword to add tags.
Comment	You can add a comment to a video. Press Shift＋Return to change lines.
Annotations	Shows the duration of the annotations that you have created. You can add a name to your annotation by clicking in the blank box. Also, you can remove your annotation by clicking the trash icon.

Editing Annotations

Settings of key frames etc. are found below of the screen.

• Play: You can use this tool to play your video.

• Key frames: You can slide the bar of the key frames to change the duration of your annotations, after selecting the target annotation. You can adjust the annotation display time by sliding the bar or by using "1sec Skip Backward" and "1sec Skip Forward" buttons. You can also manually edit the start and end time display setting.

• Trim: By pressing the "Trim" button and sliding the bar of the key frames, you can trim the duration of your video. ※You can backup the original video by entering the name of the video and pressing the "Save" button.

• Preview: You can use this tool to preview your video.

Video Preview

You can preview your video by clicking the "Preview" button. Below are the tools that can be used to preview your video.

• Play: You can use this tool to preview your video.

• Previous annotation: You can use this tool to move to the previous annotation in the video.

• Next annotation: You can use this tool to move to the next annotation in the video.

• Mute: You can use this tool to mute or change the volume of your video.

• Fullscreen : You can use this tool to change your video to fullscreen.

• Enable/Disable play annotation step by step: You can use this tool to Enable/Disable play annotation step by step.
